ARINC Managed Services Launches Proactive Remote Monitoring for Motor Vehicle Administration Kiosks

Annapolis—ARINC Managed Services (AMS), the world leader in managed IT services and support for airports, today announced a proactive remote monitoring solution to help motor vehicle administration offices reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs for self-service kiosks.

AMS Remote Kiosk Monitoring provides diagnostic connectivity between remote kiosks and the AMS Service Desk, a 24x7x365 global service organization that enables AMS to provide customers with any degree of support they require.

AMS representatives will discuss the new remote kiosk monitoring service at ARINC Booths 300-302 of the 2011 American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) Region I Conference, scheduled July 17-21 in downtown Baltimore.

When an issue occurs, AMS personnel can perform immediate remote diagnostics and troubleshooting, and—if necessary—dispatch a technician, all of which is “invisible” to kiosk operators and users. This ability to automatically detect and resolve issues reduces the need for MVA on-site maintenance resources.

proactive approach, a problem or potential problem is instantly and automatically reported to the AMS Service Desk, and troubleshooting can begin immediately. Often a problem can be fixed remotely, before any customer is inconvenienced.”
